Overview
SolveBar ("https://solvebar.com") is a collection of free online tools for developers and crypto users. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data we do NOT collect
All tools on SolveBar run entirely in your browser. This means:
- Text you enter into tools (JSON, text, passwords) never leaves your device
- Wallet addresses you check are queried directly from public blockchain APIs
- We do not require account registration or login
- We do not store any tool inputs or outputs on our servers
- We do not sell your data to third parties
Data we do collect
Usage analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are popular, where visitors come from, and how people use the site. This data is anonymized and aggregated. We do not use it to identify individuals. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard access logs including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and advertising purposes only (Google Analytics and AdSense). We do not use cookies to track your personal information or tool usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the display of ads but will not affect the functionality of any tools.
Third-party links
Our site contains affiliate links to third-party services (exchanges, VPN providers, hosting companies). If you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These third-party sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
Blockchain tool data
Tools such as the Wallet Age Checker query public blockchain APIs (Etherscan, CoinGecko) with data you provide. Wallet addresses and transaction data you look up are public on-chain information. We do not store these queries. Please review the privacy policies of Etherscan and CoinGecko for their data practices.
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- The right to access data we hold about you
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to opt out of personalized advertising
- The right to data portability
Since we collect minimal data, most requests can be fulfilled by adjusting your browser's cookie settings. For other requests, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
